ABOUT Mansur

Mansur is a Partner at Skillcapital and heads the firm's New York office. He joined the company in 1999, soon after it was founded and has been instrumental in driving its growth and development.

Before joining Skillcapital, he headed the private equity practice at Armstrong International, the financial services executive search firm out of which Skillcapital was spun.

Qualified as a barrister, Mansur was called to the Bar in 1996. He holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Theology from Oxford University.

Case studies


We supported EQT pre-deal during their acquisition of Aker Solutions’ Well Intervention Division (Now Qinterra), to help build parts of the senior management team.


We helped Cinven source and evaluate an acquisition by calling upon our deep sector knowledge and relationships.


We worked with Cinven to find a non-executive chairman for CeramTec, a global producer of high-performance ceramics materials and products with revenues of around € 450m.


We identified a new CFO for Orange Switzerland, a mobile operator acquired by Apax Partners, in a €1.6bn LBO in 2012.


We worked with the Icelandic authorities as well as bank and hedge fund creditors to build a non-executive board for Glitnir, a collapsed Icelandic bank.


Exova is one of the world’s leading materials testing businesses. We were asked to identify an MD who could lead the European business.


We supported OMERS in their market and commercial diligence of Civica, a market leader in specialist systems and business process services.


Working in a highly sensitive situation, we assisted Advent on multiple streams of due diligence work to help our client answer their questions.


We worked with 3i to hire a new CEO for Enterprise, a £1.2bn revenue infrastructure business operating in the utility, FM and waste services markets.
