Skillcapital provides access to opportunities in private equity-owned businesses for talented senior managers. We build long-term relationships with private equity firms that need constant access to business leaders, both in an advisory capacity and as potential managers of their portfolio companies. We learn about our clients’ needs and preferences and stay alert for opportunities that will interest them.

We get to know the leaders of European companies in our six target sectors. We consult them on behalf of our clients, and provide support and advice for those who become candidates for portfolio company leadership roles. Candidates benefit from our detailed knowledge of the buyout process, from acquisition to realisation. Skillcapital was itself initially funded by private equity: when the company was founded in 1998, we were backed by George Soros’ fund, Soros Private Equity Partners (now Towerbrook Capital).
